A little taste of New Orleans at Baka Blues Cafe`…a quaint restaurant positioned by the lily lake and next to the majestic Baka tree at Shop 9e, Arts Village, Pacific Harbour.

While away an hour or two under our blue umbrellas, spot our local white heron and feel like you’ve been transported to a Louisiana bayou.

Our barbeque and Cajun inspired menu features Southern favourites as well as mouth-watering in-house creations, garden fresh salads and enticing appetizers.

So for a little taste of New Orleans come listen to the Blues, nibble on baby back sizzlers, savour the flavours of smoked chicken served in a pineapple boat, be surprised by how well Cajun spices marry with South Pacific mud crabs, tuck into a Texas T-Bone, and sip on a refreshing margarita or mint julep…or two!! Hand shredded BBQ chicken, tossed onto a warm bed of homestyle Carolina BBQ sauce. Topped with onions, garlic & creamy mozarrella. Polished off with a lavish scattering of our homesyle spicy slaw.

Classic flavours of taco seasoning from our favourite “Route 66 Chilli” A beef & bean tomato mashup w/ creamy mozzarella & cheddar cheese. Finally topped w/ fresh beqa island tomatoes, coriander slasa & sour cream

 

Pulled Pork Pizza

 

A meaty heaven. Topped w/ succulent pulled pork, juicy local pineapple, crispy bacon, zesty jalapenos & home grown coriander w/ extra flavour oozing from our in house sweet & tangy pineapple BBQ sauce.

 

Chicken Tikka Masala

 

This pizza has a distinctive indian flavour, thanks to the traditional sauces & seasonings added w/ a topping of grilled chicken slices, bongo chillie’s, coriander & lovingly partnered w/ mozzarella cheese. Served w/ a cucumber raita. Results in a delicious combination of east meets west.

 

Smoked Beef Brisket

 

A smoking combination of beef brisket, homemade BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, spring onions, beqa island tomatoes, mozzarella & smoked cheddar cheese. Finished off w/ a topping of coriander & a pinch of seas salt flakes.

 

Chilli Prawn Pineapple

 

Buttery prawns marinated in garlic, spring onions & bongo, topped on tomato passata, plump pineapple, crispy capsicum & creamy mozzarella. Served up w/ a generous sprinkle of crunchy peanuts & homegrown coriander.

 

Bubba Gump Shrimp

 

Shrimp squirming in Cajun seasoning, tossed onto a lava like layer of mozzarella & cheddar cheese, crispy roasted red peppers, red & green onions & fresh hand picked herbs from our little garden.

 

The Smok’n Classic

 

Classic basil marinara sauce is the base for this popular hand crafted pizza, filled with naughtiness, smoked ham, gruyere cheese, local mushrooms, olives & homegrown herbs makes this pizza simple, flavourful & perfect in feeding your gluttony.

 

Smok’n Swim’n Salmon

 

Heart smart smoked salmon strips w/ melt in your mouth avocado, delicious homegrown dill. Added with a garlic cream cheese spread & a topping of hand selected baby rocket leaves from the backyard.
